Community Services Council Newfoundland and Labrador initiates, undertakes and collaborates in research related to community capacity building, social and economic development, the social economy, volunteerism, the voluntary community-based sector, public policy and other issues of concern. Increasingly, there is an emphasis on evidence-based decision making and the importance of timely, relevant and useful information. CSC facilitates and conducts research in support of these objectives.
