The Community Services Council Newfoundland and Labrador will soon be home to an exciting program to support the non-profit, voluntary sector and volunteers in communities across Canada. We are seeking a highly qualified individual to lead this work.
We will soon be the home for a national voluntary sector portal. The portal is designed to connect organizations across Canada and to enable them access to key resources and information. A bilingual Program Manager is required to implement an engagement strategy; build networks; oversee technical development; supervise program personnel; ensure sustainability and secure corporate and government sponsors.
Applicants must have a proven track record at a senior level in implementing technology programs. Several years experience as a Program Manager is essential. Portal development and management experience, including extensive knowledge of open source solutions and systems administration experience are essential. Must have a university degree, along with formal technical training as well as excellent written and interpersonal skills. Above average technical skills and knowledge of the voluntary sector is required. Candidates must be self-motivated, able to work independently, be fluent in both official languages and travel when required.
This is a contractual position, salary range $50,000 - $60,000 negotiable depending on experience and qualifications. Length of contract to be determined.
