Since our inception in 1999, we have worked to develop a long-term plan to develop our aims and objectives, as are outlined in KEEP's constitution.

We promote sound environmental values through community participation.  KEEP has made informational presentations about our environmental concerns to local groups, such as our Sparks, Brownies, and Girl Guides, the Kelligrews Kiwanis Club, and also to classes at our local elementary schools.

Keep has worked to develop and implement a conceptual plan for the areas of our rivers, wetlands, beaches and ocean.  We aim to provide and enhance recreational and educational opportunities through interpretation and development of trails.  Because the Kelligrews and Gully Rivers and ponds border the Trailway through Conception Bay South, KEEP has met with the Trailway Council, outlining its concerns and plans regarding the Trailway.

Keep's objectives can only be met through co-operation with local, provincial and federal stakeholders.  KEEP is therefore working to enhance the economic and tourism potential of our area, as partners with the community, government, business and all interested parties.   To carry out the work of our organization, we raise and administer funds.
